| About Victor | ABOUT ME As a senior cybersecurity executive with 21+ years of experience, I have had the privilege to lead and mentor teams of senior directors, directors, and managers. I had the honor to assess the gaps in the security program and build a strategy to mitigate them for Fortune 500 companies. I also had the opportunity to work with a team of senior technical resources and directing the security messaging and technical resources, and collaborating with various business leaders. Throughout my career, I have strived to be an accredited expert in building and maturing security programs. I have been fortunate to be a key decision maker in vendor negotiations and partner management, as well as managing core cybersecurity functions or teams such as Security Operations Center (SOC), purple team, and compliance. My educational background includes degrees in computer science and business administration, as well as legal training. I am also proud to hold over 70 industry-recognized cybersecurity certificates, including CISSP, CEH, AWS, CCSK and SANS/GIAC. My experience and expertise have led to a proven track record of success in both executive and leadership roles, working for mid to large enterprises. I have been invited to be a keynote speaker at major cybersecurity conferences and serve as an adjunct professor. Additionally, I am passionate about advocating for cybersecurity education and serve as a board member for major cybersecurity communities such as ISACA, CSA, and Fuel. As I continue to grow and develop as a cybersecurity professional, I remain committed to helping the cybersecurity community build a cohesive ecosystem where intelligence can be shared for the greater good. |
